However, it is not easy to operate in practice. For example, in the category of recyclables, everyone knows that paper can be recycled, but they are not very familiar with plastics, glass, rubber, and other materials that are also recyclable. Everyone knows that batteries are hazardous waste, but they may not necessarily know that discarded drugs, cosmetics, etc. are also hazardous waste.
Statistics show that the amount of household waste entering municipal terminals in Changsha last year decreased by 13.59% compared to 2017. This indicates that as long as everyone pays attention to the "big environmental protection" beyond the "snow in front of the door" and does not dwell on the "small troubles" of garbage classification, garbage classification will become a new habit and custom. Changsha's small goal of achieving 100% coverage of community garbage classification in environmental protection this year will not be missed.
