1. On site closure process
(1) Direct closure can be used for stale garbage. The consequence of direct closure is that there are no plans to construct farmland or functional buildings in the area. The method of on-site closure involves covering the surface of the landfill with soil or laying anti-seepage materials to prevent seepage, and diverting surface water. It is best to cover the soil layer on top and carry out greening.
(2) Underground anti-seepage curtain technology includes curtain grouting technology and underground continuous wall technology. The principle of this technology is to form a continuous anti-seepage wall around the garbage heap through curtain grouting and other techniques, to block the lateral migration of garbage leachate into groundwater. This continuous wall should be connected to the waterproof layer below the bottom of the garbage body.
(3) The selection of plant species for vegetation restoration technology during closure is crucial. Generally speaking, the ecological restoration sequence of informal landfill sites should be selected in the order of "vegetation shrubs trees". Within 5 years of closure, it is advisable to plant all vegetation and vines in order to gradually restore the vegetation of the landfill site. After 5 years of closure, some shallow rooted shrubs can be gradually planted to improve the appearance of the landfill site.
2. The principle of aerobic microbial stabilization technology is to maintain the optimal conditions for garbage reaction, such as temperature, humidity, gas content, and distribution, through the action of air injection pipes, air extraction pipes, and self-control devices. Aerobic treatment is a solution that utilizes the decomposition principle of microorganisms to inject oxygen rich air into landfills and promote aerobic biological reactions, further corroding the garbage.
3. The advantage of in-situ screening and quantification technology screening method is that it can achieve waste reduction, eliminate pollution hazards, effectively release landfill land, and improve the utilization efficiency of landfill sites.
4. In fact, the comprehensive management combination technology is generally used for the comprehensive management of landfill sites for stale garbage, combining multiple technologies mentioned above to achieve more reasonable, safe and reliable treatment of stale garbage.
