my country's rapid economic and urban development, coupled with a growing urban population and significantly improved living standards, has led to a growing amount of domestic waste, posing an increasingly serious threat to the environment. Therefore, environmentally friendly and economical disposal of municipal waste has become a pressing task. Current waste disposal methods generally include landfill, dumping into rivers and oceans, landfilling, composting and incineration, and recycling.

Currently, landfilling is the primary method of waste disposal, accounting for over 70% of total waste disposal. This method is used by most countries worldwide, particularly underdeveloped countries. While this method boasts low operating costs, simple operation, and high processing capacity, it also has significant drawbacks. First, it occupies a large amount of land, wasting land resources, making site selection difficult and land acquisition costs high. Second, it wastes a significant amount of inherent resources, transforming man-made waste into "unsustainable resources, a vast waste of wealth," failing to meet resource utilization requirements. Third, it causes severe environmental pollution. Because most existing landfills fail to meet sanitary landfill requirements, bacteria and toxins in the garbage continue to seep downward, contaminating the land and water. As the accumulation increases and time passes, the pollution spreads to the surrounding areas and deep underground, leaving long-lasting harm. Toxic and odorous gases emitted by the garbage diffuse throughout the surrounding area, creating three-dimensional pollution in the air, surrounding areas, and underground.

Although a small number of "sanitary landfills" have been built in many developed countries and some of my country's more developed cities, reducing pollution to some extent, the environmental pollution problems caused by technological imperfections remain numerous and cannot be fundamentally resolved. Therefore, the advantages of garbage sorting equipment used in garbage sorting are highlighted. Using garbage sorting equipment to process domestic garbage as resources, accurately classify urban domestic garbage, and then use appropriate methods to treat it according to the different properties of the classified garbage, so that it can be recycled and reused, thereby truly achieving garbage harmlessness, reducing the amount of garbage, turning harm into benefit, and at the same time reducing human demands on natural resources and realizing sustainable utilization of resources. Therefore, the development prospects of garbage sorting equipment are very promising.
